Ngozi Cole is a writer and journalist. She has reported for Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting and The New Humanitarian, among others.

Ngozi has reported on social issues, including abortion rights in Sierra Leone, allegations of institutional racism at Médecins Sans Frontières, housing injustice in New York, and healthcare access in Ohio. Her work has been supported by the Young Feminist Fund and the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting. Before pursuing journalism full-time, Ngozi worked in the aid sector.

Born and raised in Freetown, Sierra Leone, Ngozi graduated with honors from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in New York, which she attended as a Brigid O’Hara-Forster Scholar.

She is the founder and editor of Poda-Poda Stories, a Sierra Leonean literary journal. Her fiction and poetry have been published in Brittle Paper and Afreada.
